Eric DeCamps Named New PA #1 Dean
 The
Parent Assembly has elected Eric DeCamps as their new Dean, succeeding the late
Sam Schwartz. Mr. DeCamps has been a PA member for 27 years and was the 1996
Magician of the Year. He is the second person in the 107 year history of the
organization to receive the prestigious Gold Medal of Excellence for Close Up
Magic. His Pure Magic show is currently running in New York City until
the end of June.
FFFF Stars to Appear in Buffalo  The FFFF (Fechter's Finger Flicking Frolic) convention is one of the most prestigious gatherings of close-up magicians in the world. Since 1971, the by-invitation-only gathering featured the best performers, creators and lecturers in the world. By special arrangement, Obie O’Brien brings many of the FFFF stars to appear at the S.A.M. Convention in Buffalo July 15-18.
