Geoff Latta Lectures for the Parent Assembly on March 3, 2006

Geoff LattaOn March 3rd, Geoff Latta will be giving a rare New York City lecture for the Parent Assembly of the Society of American Magicians.  Hailed as one of the underground’s genius of close-up magic, Geoff’s brilliance is particular keen with his innovative coin sleights and routines. Little known in the magic world until the publication of COINMAGIC by Richard Kaufman in the early ‘80s, his routines in that publication signaled a new and unique creative influence that would continue to impact coin magic for the next three decades. Even today, his all too rare appearances in print are eagerly sought and cherished by coin workers. Seldom seen performing except for a rare underground tape and all too rare appearances, his lecture for the Parent Assembly is not only a chance to see him work but also a unique opportunity to taught by one of the true creative talents in coin magic.

This lecture is part of the annual Willie Schneider Memorial Lecture series and is produced by Meir Yedid.

The lecture will take place at 8 PM on Friday, March 3rd the Soldiers', Sailors', Marines' and Airmen's Club, 283 Lexington Avenue (between 36th and 37th Streets), 2nd Floor, New York, New York.
