Garrett Thomas to Lecture for the Parent Assembly on February 6, 2007
 Garrett
Thomas is one of the new faces of close-up sleight of hand magic. Garrett is a
real-world magician who performs in restaurants and clubs all over Western New
York, including The Forks Hotel's world-famous magic bar and restaurant. A
member of the elite FFFF magic society, Garrett Thomas has performed and
lectured at clubs and conventions all over the United States and is now coming
to New York City. In addition to his busy performing schedule, he is a magic
consultant to David Blaine.
Garrett brings back magic in its purest form. His effects are simple, clean,
well-thought-out pieces of magical art. Coins appear, melt away, and jump from
one hand to the other in a Threefly effect that defies description. In another
effect, a shuffled deck dealt out randomly is suddenly in sequential order. In
