New York, NY - The Parent Assembly Number 1 of the Society of American Magicians announced its selection of Sam Schwartz as the 2006 “Magician of the Year”. Sam is the Dean of the Parent Assembly and has been a member for 48 years. He is best known for his “Back Flip” trick and other moves making him a pioneer of packet tricks.
Sam's award will be presented at the Parent Assembly's Annual Salute to Magic Show on April 8, 2006 in New York City.
