Houdini Gravesite Ceremony

New York, NY - On November 25, 2005, which coincided with the anniversary of Harry Houdini's death on the Jewish Calendar (23rd of Cheshvan), members of the Parent Assembly Number 1 of the Society of American Magicians visited Houdini's gravesite.  At the gravesite First-Vice President Ken Schwabe performed the traditional Broken Wand Ceremony and Rabbi Noach Valley, a member of the Parent Assembly, performed a religious service.

Present at the ceremony were Parent Assembly Members Ken Ferst, Jack Glickman, Dr. Bruce Lish, Tony Parisi, George Schindler, Ken Schwabe, Rabbi Noach Valley, visitors Avner Levona  and Werner Reich, and SYM member Matthew Lish.
